Raosoft Survey is a package for data entry, database management, and statistical analysis in survey research. Featuring pull-down menus, dialog boxes, mouse support, and network compatibility, it comes with 24 predefined survey templates using commercial examples, online help and tutorial, and form-based data- entry screens. The database has import/export compatibility with dBASE, Lotus, and word-processing ASCII files. Output is in the form of statistical tables or graphs and a slide-show utility is included for presentations. Statistical procedures are minimal but include cross tabulations, chi-square, correlation, and simple regression. The number of questions and responses is limited only by system capacity. It does not support CATi (computer-assisted telephone interviewing) but does support mail questionnaires, including letters and envelope printing. It also has an extra-cost option for disk-based surveys (USURVEY, $30 per 5o disks).
