Corana is a user-friendly program for correspondence analysis, a form of multidimensional analysis that is very popular in market research. Correspondence analysis shows on a graphical plot how close values of a categorical column variable are to row values of a series of interval variables (e.g., the columns could be candidates and rows could be variables such as age, popularity, voting indexes, and so on). Points are plotted showing each candidate in relation to each row variable. The Corana package can accept input matrices up to ioo by 100. Such large matrices require about 4 minutes computing time on a 20MHz 80386 with math coprocessor.
