GIANTS is a time-series software package written by aca demics at Moscow State University and published in the United States by SciTech International, Inc. The package can be used to obtain periodograms; estimate moving average models and sample coherence functions; test AR-hypotheses; conduct Kepstral analysis; calculate autoregressive estimators for spectral density; estimate in tervention and seasonal ARIMA models; and forecasting. The program is easy to install but is cumbersome to work with given its unusual and limited use of a mouse, inability to clear screens, lack of options for editing graphs and data, and poor documentation.
