Following the success of its Street Atlas USA, providing for the first time complete street maps of the entire United States on one CD-ROM, DeLorme has released the most-detailed electronic atlas ever produced. It contains 100,000 items in its gazetteer, 100 detailed street maps, text descriptions for 20,000 points of interest, commercial air travel routes, and general background information in profiles of each country of the world. It allows on its maps seamless panning and zooming from the global to the local level.
